Sharing Patient Handouts With QR Codes

We know that some HealthStencil users share the same post-operative instructions repeatedly.

Printing handouts from Healthstencil is a great option, as you can access all your pre-saved templates without having to switch programs. Everything is in one location accessible from anywhere.

To make it easier, we have created print options:

Handout Only
Handout + QR Code
QR Code Only

Handout Only

Prints only your handout, without syncing and no embedded QR Code.

This option is useful for patients who are not tech savvy, or would still prefer an old school printed handout to take away after the consult.

Handout With QR Code Embedded

Live Syncs your handout, and embeds a QR Code for patients to scan and save a digital copy.

Print out multiple handouts, and offer your patient either the printed copy or scan the QR code for the digital copy.

QR Code Only

Prints a large QR code with title, clinic logo and author name. Great for laminating and putting on your office wall for easy QR Code scanning after a procedure.

This is a good option for pasting a large QR code onto your wall for frequently shared handouts (eg. post-operative instructions).
